Hast du gewusst, dass unser Körper in zwei Richtungen wachsen möchte? Genauer genommen kann er sich gefühlt in alle Richtungen weiten, aber bleiben wir vorerst beim linearen Prinzip des Wachsens Richtung Erde und Richtung Himmel.
Diese innere Dynamik kann jede Asanapraxis inspirieren. Vanda Scaravelli spricht in ihrem legendären Buch „Awakening the spine“ sogar von einer „Unterrichtsrevolution“. Mittlerweile integrieren viele Lehrende dieses Prinzip selbstverständlich in ihre Anleitungen.
Vanda Scaravalli meint, unsere Wirbelsäule könne sich genau in der Mitte unseres Rückens, auf Höhe der Taille, um den 5. Lendenwirbel herum gleichzeitig in beide Richtungen bewegen.
Einerseits hilft die Schwerkraft, dass sich die Wirbelsäule ausgehend von unserer Taille über unsere Beine und Füße nach unten ausdehnt/wurzelt – gleichzeitig entsteht ein – sagen wir mal – Rückkoppelungseffekt, ein Implus, der nach oben hin wirkt und unseren ganzen Körper: von den Füßen beginnend, innerlich wahrnehmbar aufrichten hilft.
Wir bedienen uns der Kraft der „Nicht-Kraft“ (Erdanziehung) und nutzen den entstandenen Energiefluss, eine Art „Anti-Schwerkraft-Reflex“. Diese Welle kann äußerst kräftig sein und ein unerwartetes Öffnen im Inneren hervorrufen, die unsere Wirbelsäule belebt und zum „zum Leben erweckt“.
Dieser natürliche Prozess kann bei allen Lebewesen, die aufrecht durch die Welt schreiten oder in dieser weilen beobachtet werden. Pflanzen veranschaulichen dies am besten: eine Blume oder besser noch ein Baum wächst gleichzeitig im Erdinneren wie auch im Strecken gen Himmel. Je tiefer er wurzelt umso höher und fester sein Stamm.
Aber jetzt kommt ein spannender Punkt. Verglichen mit einem Baum, der in die Erde wurzelt, steckt ein Mensch genau bis zur Taille in der Erde. Unsere „Mitte“ unser „Zentrum“ wäre die Verbindung zwischen Erd- und Himmelreich. Ungefähr auf Höhe des fünften Lendenwirbels möchten wir also nach oben hin wachsen und nach unten hin wurzeln.
Es handelt sich um eine ganz feine innere Qualität, eine kaum sichtbare, aber energetisch wahrnehmbare Körperdynamik.
Wir sind nicht gewohnt, uns Zeit zu lassen und geduldig dieses „Körperwissen“ zur Entfaltung kommen zu lassen. Umso wichtiger ist es, auch diesen ruhigen Momenten Zeit zu geben – und zu lauschen, zu horchen, was sich entwickeln möchte. Dem eigenen Körper vertrauen lernen und sich dem, was sich zeigen möchte hinzugeben.
In meiner Yogapraxis lege ich immer größeren Wert auf das bewusste Einrichten und Zeitgeben für ein ganz persönliches samasthiti (Stehhaltung). Ich empfinde es immer wieder bereichern, zu erfühlen, wie mich dieses Bild stabilisiert und energetisiert. Samasthiti erhält dadurch eine neue Qualität und wird zu einem dynamischen Stehen. SO stehe ich JETZT HIER!
Dieses innere natürliche Wachsen bedeutet außerdem: vergiss unangebrachtes Ziehen, Zerren und Dehnen! Schenk deine Aufmerksamkeit deinem ATEM, der deine Bewegungen unterstützt und Räume öffnet – der Ausatem hilft uns, Länge zu finden ohne große Anstrengung.
Länge finden und Weite spüren können erst passieren, wenn Ziehen und Zerren aufhören – darin sieht Vanda Scaravelli die Yoga-Revolution.
Diese Erfahrung und Qualität kann ich immer wieder in meinen Alltag hereinholen.
Ich kann z.B. bewusst in der U-bahn am Weg zur Arbeit stehen, im bewussten Stehen meine Zähne putzen, bewusst im Supermarkt in der Warteschlange stehen UND: dabei meinem Atem lauschen – und bin auf einmal im Jetzt angekommen.
